From Hardware to Content – Strategy for Fast, Cheap and Secure Internet to all of Denmark
About the publication
The Danish Government is now presenting its strategy for the continued penetration of fast, cheap and secure internet. The strategy rests on a market-based infrastructure and the public sector as an IT locomotive.
The strategy will be followed up on a continuous basis, by among other things the annual IT and Telecommunications Policy Report to the Folketing – the first time in December 2001. Already in August it was followed up by plans for the use of IT in e.g. education and the cultural life.
The strategy includes two annexes:
- Trends within high-speed and broadband connections in Denmark
- Overview of state IT initiatives – Status of major current state IT initiatives
