This sub-report is part of the project entitled "The use of information technology by the public sector to communicate with the general public". The sub-report contains our on-line study of a selection of public-sector homepages. More than 24,000 institutions were registered within the scope of the study, roughly 1,650 (7 per cent) of which had homepages.
